December 16, 20196 yr Hi all, Have anyone managed to reach pedestal switches or see anything at night in the wonderful Lear? The thrust levers, fuel panel and center pedestal is pitch black for me at night. Starting from cold and dark at night, is REALLY dark. Almost an impossible task. This kills night simulation for the Lear. thanks ___________________________________________________ Rafael Henrique Carelli
December 18, 20196 yr These rotatories are all fully dimmable now... Perfect for tweaking however I want when it gets cloudy. I know these were once crippled to on and off only to save VAS and I had to mod the plane to get them dimmable again. After a years break I came back and they all dim wonderfully blending in with the cockpit texture updates. Thanks for improving even more my favorite (equal with the a2a mustang) plane! You can’t see TL, flaps handle, on the AFCS you can’t see the fire extinguisher switches, TR switches position, and many other stuff. We need some kind of floodlight, (I know the Lear doesn’t have any dome) but in the real world you would plainly see all these mentioned switches, just as they are lit by the panel itself. A Dynamic Lightning profile would be very much appreciated. Thanks ___________________________________________________ Rafael Henrique Carelli
December 31, 20196 yr Commercial Member Just as a notable mention, we actually gave several areas of the cockpit which do not have EL backlighting at night, backlighting in the sim. Things that would be basically impossible to find without it. For example, the rotary knobs for the panel lights don't have any lights at all in the real airplane (ironic). The flap gate also doesn't have EL backlighting in the real airplane, and neither do the oxygen control knobs. It is not only very useful in Lear but also for all other aircraft (GAs or TubeLiners) when they are C&D during a moonless night ;-). Here it is: http://www.lorby-si.com/downloads.html I use it during the beginning of a Lear video I made in August: Richard.
