December 20, 20196 yr After uninstalling a light mod add-on due to framerate problems, this issue started to occur; I'm assuming it left some files during the uninstallation process. Basically the further the lights are away, the bigger and brighter they are. Any recommendations on how to bring original P3D street lights back? I've deleted the p3d config file and attempted to reinstall the latest P3D contents package, no dice.
December 20, 20196 yr I would check my terrain cfg. in program data/LM folder, to see if there are any leftovers that remain. Win 11 pro 64Bit, X670 AORUS ELITE AX, Ryzen 7 7800x3d, RTX 4080, 64Gig G-Skill 6000 DDR 5, Samsung 990 pro 2TB NVME.
December 20, 20196 yr Commercial Member Isn't that just normal ESP (FSX/P3D) light effect? The further away the more narrow the lights get (they get grouped together) and the end result is they appear broader and brighter? Lightbloom can increase this effect. December 20, 20196 yr Moderator I agree with Dave’s idea that they look bright due to being in line and grouping together. If viewed from the side where the are not in a single file line they won’t look as bring because they will be spaced out. Same as in real life. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
December 20, 20196 yr Author I appreciate the help guys, looked through my terrain.cfg, nothing abnormal from what I could tell. Maybe it's placebo but I just don't remember them looking like this prior, here's maybe a better example.
