I cant afford getting p3d at the moment sadly.

thats why im looking into this rather cheaper.

Nor do you need it. Get FS9, and all the addons and you will be light years ahead of FSX.

Hope this helps. By the way, FSX was a "crayon" answer to FS9. That is why Microsoft gave up. That said, they are attempting a comeback with their recently advertised project in development.

Hello agian, I am having problem with my ps4 controller, my pc does not regonize it...

I installed ds4 and everything but my computer does not detect it. I looked in my controll panel if it did and it doesnt, Could use a bit of help, thank you

Sorry I don't own a DS4, but this web page looks like it covers all bases:

Does the controller show up for you when you use the Game Controllers Windows control panel?  If so, you likely need to enable it in the Steam application (which you obtained FSX:SE through).  In the main menu of Steam go to Steam-->Settings from the top left and select Controller on the next menu.  It should be under General Controller Settings.  You may have to check or uncheck boxes to get Steam to recognize your DS4.  Report back if you still have issues - hopefully others more experienced with that controller and FSX:SE can help.  Or post in the FSX:SE forums in Steam - a lot of posters there use console controllers while I feel the audience here mainly uses flight controllers.

You keep telling yourself that!

There will be no more "discussion" of FSX VS FS9 in this forum. (period!)  The OP has made his decision and we are here to to answer any of his questions concerning FSX and not to sell him on another Sim.
