January 11, 20206 yr Just to be clear, Shom......I am not talking about this airport package (I do not have it). I am talking about P3Dv4 in general. This can heavily impact performance coupled with SSAA which should no be required when using 4k. As usual, it always depends on your own sensibility to moire/shimmering, which is more visible during night with landing lights on. Umberto Colapicchioni http://www.fsdreamteam.com FSDT on Facebook

It's exactly the same as with KORD V2, and you must understand that, the moire effect without SSAA happens in *EVERY* game that use PBR, and the only "solution", which is NOT a real solution, would be simply removing the normal maps at night, which kills the realism of seeing the relief on pavement cracks. This not a scenery made to be used some months and then throw it away when the next flight simulator will be out. Since the next flight sim will work *only* in PBR, users with lesser hardware WILL have to update it, no matter what, and they will do it so, of course, nobody will remember those useless discussions about "I cannot use SSAA" anymore, when everybody would have to update their hardware for MSFS2020. In addition to that, with FS Labs you cannot ( or shouldn't, because it would be too slow ) use FXAA, that's what their startup warning is about. But that's fine, it's SSAA that makes all the difference and, provided you have the HF2 installer, it reduces the shimmering on ground a lot. In any case, with KORD V2, we made an alternative set of textures without normal maps ( so it's not correct PBR anymore ) available for those that couldn't use SSAA, we can easily do the same for LFSB, it's really not a big deal. Let me try this in Trial mode. As I use two 4K monitors in NVSurround with my server, I use FXAA / 4X MSAA / 8x AF. That gives a sharp image both day and night on my system Knowing FSDT the scenery will be top notch.I will see how it looks at night. 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0

That might be true but 2x 4K is already sharper than 2x 2K. 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0
January 12, 20206 yr I'm running a 2080 Ti at 1920x1080 8xSSAA. The textures look great. Unfortunately, that's what it takes. i9-10850K, ASUS TUF GAMING Z490-PLUS (WI-FI), 32GB G.SKILL DDR4-3603 / PC4-28800, GIGABYTE RTX5080 16GB WF OC 3 FAN running 3440x1440
