GTN Database 1909

Hello,

I downloaded the .msi and the .cab for database 2.6. I tried unpacking the files and leaving them zipped but get an error that says the installer can't find the db1.cab file. Anyone have any ideas? :)

Put the msi and all the cab files into a temporary folder on your desktop.

Then run the msi file.

The GTN Database 1909 fails to install. I get the following error message 'A file that is required cannot be installed because the cabinet file H:\DBsl.cab has an invalid digital signature. This may indicate that the cabinet file is corrupt.'

Please advise.

Regards,

Bob

Hi,

I'd suggest you just download the files again. Maybe it got interrupted in the middle?

I have downloaded it three times and it still receive the error message. I am a longtime user and have never had this problem before. Thanks again for your prompt response.

Worked for me.. did you get all 8 cab files?

There is something weird though: you're reporting the installer errors out on a file named "DBsl.cab" but there is no such file.

They all end with a number (1 to 8), not a letter..?!!

Guys,

Thanks for the help. I was able to get it to work. I downloaded & unzipped the files to a different location and it worked as expected. Again, thanks for the help and great customer service.
