August 9, 20214 yr revisiting an old thread. Finally added the real program. Strangely in p3d under addons I see it is installed. But when I look thru my lorbys add on list it does not show real turb anywhere??? Did a quick approach into Reno expecting to feel some turbulence. I didn't feel anything different. Any other tips for a method to verify proper installation? I thought for sure I'd feel a difference. 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next
August 10, 20214 yr You certainly should feel a difference. In my Lorby the RealTurb areas are listed in "Other Addons" and filtering by DLL should help display. And the vid shows the effects I've been getting (note I also have ASN running given RealTurb plugs into the ASN API for data, plus I have A2A's Accu-Feel as well which will add its contributions). When I tested it I trialed in Africa over mountinaous areas (a saved test flight with on/off type scenarios) and it certainly had an effect, enough to make me purcahse the full range. Cheers. August 10, 20214 yr @Rogen Thanks for your reply. I was able to find it properly listed in lorbys. thanks for that pointer. I guess I will have to do more tests. October 22, 20223 yr Oh yes, totally worth it. I has a lot of logic, and according to terrain shape. Needs ActiveSky to work as intended (needs weather data in order to calculate the logic correctly).
