Chaseplane has started to close within 30 seconds after opening it. Using FSX with both the sim and chaseplane running as administrator. Both were fine last time I used them.

Is there any known fixes for this? There's no error message or anything. Thanks.

For some reason, mine has started doing the same thing all of a sudden just this morning.. Rebooted, verified files in Orbx Central and it is still occurring. I'm on the latest P3D 4.5.

I can confirm this is happening to me as well. I start Prepar3D v4.5 HF2 and ChasePlane closes after about 30 seconds. If I manually restart it, ChasePlane closes again. I will attempt to uninstall/re-install. Not sure what's causing the problem. There is nothing to report from the Windows Event Viewer.

Have you updated through orbx?

old prop is now //42, parallel 42, which is sold through the orbx central app...a right run around.

My chase plane is doing the same thing, it closes within 5 to 10 seconds after opening.

Just started doing this today?

Hi All,

I visited Orbx website, where Chase Plane now resides, and they have a forum over there for Chase Plane.

Apparently, according to a poster on Orbx, said Chase Plane wants you to log on once in a while.

So what I did was, launch Orbx Central, then logged in. I then went to Partners section, and under Other, is a link to //42 Chase Plane.

I clicked on it  and a screen popped up that gave me an option to Launch Chase Plane from Orbx Central.

Once I did, Chase Plane is now working again.
