April 16, 20206 yr Absolutely, even a 650 would be ok. As long as you are going with a high quality unit psus perform best when loaded. I recommend something built by seasonic. April 16, 20206 yr Commercial Member There are online calculators to help you determine what size (output) power supply to get. I always go 100 to 150 watts over that recommendation. I'm normally a Corsair guy, but yesterday I picked up a Thermtake 850W for $129 (and I overpaid a little given it was a small local store). But man... its so quiet!
