12 pictures - a "What if" Flying Tiger B767-300

Featured Replies

For my earlier post, while I was looking for the Flying Tigers Line liveries, in the Library, I'd come across an interesting B767 repaint. Although, I don't find any evidence that Flying Tigers Line ever flew any B767, here is a collection of images of a B767-300ER (PW Winglet model) in the color of Flying Tigers Cargo. The livery, I'd also made a reference to, earlier, is the one, with two thick (and bold) colored bands across the mid-fuselage plus other textual imprints...

[And, no, I'm not heading to North Pole here...🙂...the flightplan uploaded into the B767 FMS, is for (PHNL->KSFO). So, please find, below, the (old-gold) LVLD B767...lifting off from the same Honolulu Airport, as in my previous post...and climbing into the sky...]

Thanks for viewing!!

You just knew I'd drop in here and like the post, didn't you? :cool:

"What if" liveries can be fun and this one's no exception.

So here's 2 more "What if?" Tigers.

So weird that this is the 1st time I've had a chance to sit and actually do a flight this morning and I picked the Tiger and did a short pictorial over at the PMDG forum...not knowing you had also did 2 great posts here.
Here is a link to the post over there...if you have an account you can see the pics. Link to "Tiger King" post over at PMDG forum

Shot of the Queen as a Tiger 400F (she only wore it on the -200 sadly)...this has my and Brian T's most advanced PBR metal effects on her.  More pics at the PMDG link above

Loved the other post with the venerable 707 in Tiger paint.  A lot of good reading in that one!

Hope to get back to painting soon...but 12 hours in front of the workstation for work during this Covid-19 crisis has left my peepers too strained to stare at pixels intently for too long. 😞

Steve: What a strange coincidence, but the "Tiger" deserves it....🙂...

Yes, these are two beautiful "What If" repaints...I think Tiger (metal) liveries from either their 707 or 747, are perfectly suited for PBR dress-up...🙂...! Yes, the Tiger Line, seems to have operated only 747-100 (8) and 747-200 (13), but no -400...

BTW, I did see Brian T's "All Purple" FedEx 747-400BCF repaints for the PMDG, here, in the Library, the 747s, that FedEx had acquired from the Flying Tiger Line...(good bit of history)...

[Good Sunday and do give those "peepers" a break...!]
