Ultimate Ground Crew - P3D V5 - No indexing after Install

Hey. I have the same problem! But I could not find the dll.xml file anywhere! Hidden files are open, but neither in the main folder along the installation path, nor in the Roaming folder!

Are you using FSX or P3D?

I am using Prepar3d v5.  I removed the simulator and all add-ons. Reinstalled the simulator Prepar3d v5. Installed UGCX 1.9 and it worked! Installed ORBX, ActiveSky. Everything worked perfectly. But as soon as I installed the B-747 PMDG. UGCX again stopped working !!! Reinstalling UGCX did not help!

Usually for P3D, the dll.xml is located in:

C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5

Programdata is usually a hidden folder...you need to enable the "view hidden directories" in your Windows Explorer.

You can open a Windows explorer window, then type %programdata% then hit enter in your keyboard and it should open it.

Cheers,

Manuel

Sorry missed this part..... Okay, when you say it stops working...what does that means?...P3Dv5 crashes?...or UGCX menu doesnt appears?...just would like a more detailed description of the issue?...does an error message appears?.... if it's crashing P3Dv5 at the beginning, then we could see the dll.xml, and the UGCX's log to have a better picture of the problem

It has disappeared from Add-ons menu. Prepar3d works fine.

Try removing this section from the dll.xml, and try again. restarting P3Dv5 and let me know.

If still there is the issue, send me out the dll.xml the file itself by sending it to Bryan first, then he will redirect it to me.

Already tried, nothing.

How do I send you a file?

Look at the top line in your DLL.xml.

Do you see the corruption?

?»?<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

Try deleting:  ?»?

That should not be there.

Barvo. It works well! Thank you a million)

I will take this opportunity. When FScrew is ready for Prepar3d v5. And if I send you a real Rossya SOP for 747. Will you be able to implement it.). Thank you.
