May 2, 20206 yr I have a Throttle Quad that is connected to a Flight Yoke System playing Flight simulator via Steam. I am having issues assigned the throttle controls. The software i downloaded for the Quad stops where it shows the Quad being connected by a USB connection - my connection is via a round plug similar to a keyboard connection. Do I need the USB connection? when plugged in the quad does show power - it doesn't show up on the list of devices in the flight sim control panel as does the Yoke system
May 2, 20206 yr Normally, all joystick are connected via USB ports. If the yoke has a USB port, then it's probably for a joystick connection such as your Quad. USB can be connected in series accross multiple devices. tony
May 3, 20206 yr Which brand.model yoke setup are we talking about here? Nick Silver http://www.youtube.com/user/socalf1fan Ryzen 7 5800X3D, 64gb ddr4 3200mhz ram, RTX 4080 Super, HP Reverb G2 v2, 4K Tv Monitor
May 3, 20206 yr Sounds like the Saitek Yoke and throttle quadrant. The throttle quad has the round plug specifically for the yoke, I had the same issue when I first got mine. What fixed it for me was plugging the yoke cord into a powered usb port. 32GB DDR4 3200Mhz i7-9700K RTX 3060 12GB GDDR6
May 5, 20206 yr Agreed. Don’t plug the round plug into a ps2 keyboard socket. Plug it into the saitek yoke and yes, you may need a 5v psu to boost power to the yoke. Varjo Aero, 5090 FE, i9-12900K, 64GB Ram, RX Viper Rudder Pedals, AuthentiKit Controls + Fulcrum Yoke
