yes, when reinstalling Scenery the default Traffic is enabled again. AIM 1.0 will have an option to disable it but till then you have to disable it yourself

Thanks for the question! It reminded I needed to rename the default traffic!!

Yes, rename to trafficAircraft.bgl.OFF
