FS2Crew P3V5 HF2

Recommended Posts

The F/O just stop doing things in the middle of Before start.  During the whole process , it's impossible for me to complete before start.  I got confirmation on all 3 prompts :

Parking Brakes :  Set

Doors : Closed

Start-up & Pushback Clrnce : Approved

It just stop there. This is a fresh new install this morning of FS2 Crew. I am using it on the MD-8 for the first time.

Look at Page 20 in the manual:

http://www.support.fs2crew.com/help/manuals/#pageid=maddogx_reboot

Green text means the checklist items is read silently.

After you say "Approved", FS2Crew jumps to engine start phase.

You'd then say "Start Right Engine", etc. as per the manual.

Ensure all the aircraft doors are closed.

I did all that and I was following the manual as I was doing this. It was just stuck. I had the same issue with Climbing phase. At 10,000 feet, I called from climb check and the response was " Climb check coming". I never got out of that phase either.

yes on both. I never closed the panel and I do see the confirmation in the green bar. Maybe I need to do a recording.

Yes, a video would be helpful.

After you say "approved" for the first one, the FO will do his flow and the mode on the FS2Crew Main Panel will change.

You can also say "Set and Checked" if you ever feel the trigger word is not being detected for whatever reason.

Cheers,

Set and checked does not move it to the next phase. I tried that during the climb.

I just tried to reproduce it... worked fine here.

I called "climb check" after the "slats retract" call out.

FO said "climb check coming".

Then he said "seatbelts".

I said "off".

He said "climb check completed" and the mode auto advanced.

Not working for me either. "Startup and pushback clearance" -- "Approved" ... and nothing. No change in FS2Crew mode, no further actions from the FO.

Are you using LINDA or SPAD NEXT or anything hard ware related that could interfere?

Nope. The only thing I did was update to the latest open beta of the MadDog, with the EFB. I was also flying a variant with the Marconi MCP for the first time.
