July 15, 20205 yr The European DVD set is a very welcome initiative of Aerosoft not Microsoft. Ask your favorite US distributor to move its behind. It is a bit late but better late than never. July 15, 20205 yr While I applaud Aerosoft for releasing a hard copy of the sim, and maybe my ignorance fuels my surprise, isn't 10€ a steep surplus just for burning DVDs? MSFS. July 15, 20205 yr @canadiantree You do get a printed manual too. Plus they have to make a margin to run the website, warehouse, distribution, packaging as a well as the production. July 15, 20205 yr Physical games generally aren't that popular on PC these days as digital's usual cheaper, just look at FSX on Steam versus Amazon, or the Aerosoft physical release as examples, and it's obviously more convenient,. Hell, it's pretty normal for PCs to lack disk drives these days due to how prevalent digital is. Add to that MSFS being pretty niche, and being much more expensive to make physically due to how many bloody disks you need it's pretty understandable why MS don't want to foot the bill.
