It's like they've watched Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and mistaken them for lifestyle gurus. So I think I'd still want to beat them senseless for their annoying demeanour, although I think for comedy-effect, I would do so ironically, using a skateboard as a blunt instrument and delivering the coup-de-grace whilst yelling 'party on dude!'
