Hello everyone! I am thinking of pre - ordering the new sim but not sure if I want to do it. I saw that people with Xbox game pass get access to the closed beta and It's supposed to start today. Is this true? I didn't really understand, I am a bit confused. Let's say I subscribe for one month with Xbox game pass will I be able to try the new sim and then decide if I want to get it?

No. Purchasers of Xbox Game Pass won't automatically get access to the Closed Beta. The same holds true, if you pre-order it. 

That's the way I undertand it.

Ahh ok that's a shame.

I've got the Xbox Game Pass myself - Was able to download it yesterday (what I'm guessing was the Client anyway as the download was quite small in consideration)

When I try to click on the Game icon though I get a message saying I'm too early and that I should check the store for launch date etc.

Ah ok maybe there is hope cause the beta is supposed to come out today.

Maybe It's not out just yet.

Thats 100% wrong. They are just misreading the press release. The ‘Beta’ mentioned in it is the GamePass for PC, as it’s still technically in beta.

Yes, but gamepass users will get access to the game itself on release. No need to preorder or purchase anything....

What are you talking about?? That's not what this was about.

OP was enquiring about closed beta access for Xbox Game Pass subscribers... I don't know what you're talking about...

Just to make sure it's clear, Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta) is referring to the fact the PC Game Pass subscription is itself in beta. Having Game Pass does not mean you will get access to the MSFS beta.
