Sure, this comparison is at hands, but to be honest, if you look closely those AI generated cities will lose almost every battle to the far, far superior amount of photgrammetry cities on Google Earth. In Vehicle Simulator, in the excellent Southwest Europe scenery, I drove a very nice payware 65 Jaguar most of the way around Spain. The roads were there, the scenery was good, I had to dodge the occasional tree in the middle of the road, and I loved the experience. I fly in MSFS and look at the roads and think... no way in heck. We might be able to get away with some boating, especially in detailed ares, but anything on the ground outside handcrafted scenery just isn't going to work. It's too low resolution. I might be able to set up a decent tank battle, or Napoleonic battle, or similar as those are usually done in more rural locations. I should probably go land near the Waterloo or Gettysburg battlefields and "walk around" to see how that might work. Hook Larry Hookins Oh! Isn't it kind of like that for almost all of us who aren't already pilots? 😄 The gamers will do like I did; go back to the sim. Hook Larry Hookins Oh! Something like Train Simulator might work, when they are handcrafting the route. They'd just have to adapt the railroads and the buildings on the side. If you look at current train sims, this isn't too much of an effort compared to placing every building by hand, plus the overall landscape would heavily profit from MSFS. Trains are missing in MSFS, so let's go! 😄 Edited August 17, 20205 yr by tweekz Happy with MSFS 🙂 home simming evolved
