August 17, 20205 yr Looks like mine will take just under 4 hours. Might have to leave it to run and hope for the best as I've got to get up for work tomorrow 😞

August 17, 20205 yr You guys have got way faster connections than me, and mines a wired Etherernet connection but I can only get 25mb out here in the countryside...so slow, mind you its seems be doing ok, coming up to 9GB now .... .. Regards Paul EGCC
August 18, 20205 yr So, I sneaked back downstairs at 3am and the install had finished. Took about 3 and a half hours overall. No issues at all. Started ok but didn't recognise my ageing Sidewinder Joystick which is understandable so I've spent half an hour mapping buttons etc. Not sure how to map the hat switch to view yet but I'll get there. Had a quick flight and so far, very impressed. I found myself complaining that I would have expected to see more boats on the Hamble River and then realised that if I'm complaining about that, there's not much wrong with this sim so far.
