August 18, 20205 yr Okay, so I have older CH Products rudder pedals (waiting for Honeycomb to give more details on their Charlie pedals before I retire them). In the sim they are not preset so it's all manual. Does anyone know the correct way to set these up? I believe they are set to Joystick L Axis X+ (left) and Y+ (right), but they don't seem to work very well. When looking at them in the cockpit they barely move and they don't feel like they're doing very much to stop me on the ground. My last landing, in a 172, I rolled right off the end of the runway at KACY where I had tons of runway. What am I doing wrong? i7 8700K @4Ghz, EVGA RTX3080 Ultra, 32GB RAM, Two 2K displays. August 18, 20205 yr I'm not installed yet but from the alpha controller setup was a little whacky. I'll try to get back to you when I get mine setup (I've got your basic saitek combat pedals). also I found this link from the tips and tricks subforum, maybe it will help? August 18, 20205 yr Tomorrow I’ll post a few screenshots of the setup for the Saitek rudders that I have, which may give you a better idea. BTW, I only noticed the pinned message requesting us not to post Hardware related stuff here so we might have to move to the Hardware channels at some point Anton von Sierakowski (YBDG) Rig: ASUS Gryphon Z87 TUF Micro-ATX; i7 4770K 4.3GHz 16Gb RAM, RTX2060 6Gb, 1Tb SSD boot, 2Tb SSD MFS2020, 250Gb SSD Spare. 4Gb HDD. August 18, 20205 yr There's a whole thread on CH at https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/580116-help-ch-throttle-yoke-usb/ ckyliu, proud supporter of ViaIntercity.com. i5 12400F, 32GB, RTX4070, more in "About me" on my profile.

This was more an FS Control setup than a hardware question specifically, so I hope that's okay. i7 8700K @4Ghz, EVGA RTX3080 Ultra, 32GB RAM, Two 2K displays. If that's the case I'll be in a real dilemma. i7 8700K @4Ghz, EVGA RTX3080 Ultra, 32GB RAM, Two 2K displays. Alpha Yoke, Bravo Throttle Quadrant, CH Pedals.
August 18, 20205 yr I'm seeing a lot of "non supported" controller posts and what they actually mean is there's no default mapping and they're clueless how to map it themselves. I had the CH kit so I will find out tonight but I suspect many of the reported issues are PICNICs (problem in chair, not in computer) Edited August 18, 20205 yr by ckyliu ckyliu, proud supporter of ViaIntercity.com. i5 12400F, 32GB, RTX4070, more in "About me" on my profile.

I subscribe to Squirrel's videos on YouTube and saw that one and still found the Controls menu to be entirely perplexing. Glad for any help you might be able to provide and, at this point, I'm hoping that one guy is wrong about them flat-out not working. When I do the typical thing that Squirrel does I do get the response that I described, but as noted, it seems wrong the way it's responding and doesn't seem to do much in the sim as is. Gotta be another answer. The thing that really surprises me is the total lack of built-in support for CH. I know they're at the "lower" end of the next step up beyond Xbox controllers and basic joysticks, but CH products are likely in the hands of more people than virtually any other product being used so to not have them covered seems strange to me. i7 8700K @4Ghz, EVGA RTX3080 Ultra, 32GB RAM, Two 2K displays.
