August 18, 20205 yr anyone figured out how to reduce the number of trees? They went a little overboard, there's even trees growing out of my local hometown bridges. I also feel reducing the amount will increase performance

August 18, 20205 yr Trees are most probably configurable. But Asobo are aware of some areas where trees could have the wrong size. Yet, the tree density in my opinion is good. Tree types or height could only be required as a tweak. ________________________________LEBOR SIMULATIONSScenery for Flight Simulators since 1998

August 28, 20205 yr I agree, their are certain areas where there is simply too many trees all clumped together and the effect looks bad. Like in Los Angeles, the trees are covering up some of the streets. Density settings are done via the objects setting and that is a bit more as trees alone... (so it would be greater to have it like P3d ;-)) Edited August 28, 20205 yr by awf André
August 28, 20205 yr have a read here https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/how-to-fix-the-tree-trees-height-bug-how-to-guide-with-pics/139607 someone has created a progam to fix the tree height but it also shows you what file to edit “Flying should not be a journey to the destination with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved Aircraft, but rather to skid sideways in a cloud of smoke down the runway, engines on fire, passengers screaming, physically worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! That was one hell of a Ride and we're on Schedule!”
