Reduce Number of Trees?

Featured Replies

anyone figured out how to reduce the number of trees? They went a little overboard, there's even trees growing out of my local hometown bridges. I also feel reducing the amount will increase performance

Not possible with one setting, one of disadvantages of AI azure, report to MS via zendesk with a screenshot....

It would be curious to know if anyone replies not to mentions addresses...

Trees are most probably configurable. But Asobo are aware of some areas where trees could have the wrong size.

Yet, the tree density in my opinion is good. Tree types or height could only be required as a tweak.

really? there has to be a density setting for tree density. how else is it able to change density as it does?

every played Crysis 3? thats what it looks like, New York City has been overgrown with foliage as the apocalypse has taken over and humans are no more. quite a bleak outlook MSFS2020 has given us 😛

I agree, their are certain areas where there is simply too many trees all clumped together and the effect looks bad. Like in Los Angeles, the trees are covering up some of the streets.

What I mend to say is, that with the current settings it's not possible via one setting 😉

That's why report to zendesk if you want to have anything changed 😉 including the gui....

Density settings are done via the objects setting and that is a bit more as trees alone... (so it would be greater to have it like P3d ;-))

have a read here https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/how-to-fix-the-tree-trees-height-bug-how-to-guide-with-pics/139607

someone has created a progam to fix the tree height but it also shows you what file to edit

“Flying should not be a journey to the destination with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved Aircraft,

but rather to skid sideways in a cloud of smoke down the runway, engines on fire, passengers screaming, physically worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! That was one hell of a Ride and we're on Schedule!”
