FSX Recall??????

Featured Replies

I stopped in to local Wal-Mart again today looking for FSX and asked the manager of the software dept. when they were going to get it in. They had taken the sign down stating Oct.17th date. He said he didn't know when it would be available as it "Has Been Re-Called"Has anyone run into this the last few days? Chuck x(

Yeah they told me the same thing. I tried to buy it before the release date and they wouldnt sell it to me. So the guy assumed there was a recal because he said that would be the only reason it wouldnt let him sell it. I tried to tell him that there was no recall but apparently he didnt listen because they still dont have it and when I called they said they didnt have it because it was recalled. Just good old Wally World for ya.

Recalled for what did they say?

>Recalled for what did they say?"never said"

Let's wonder why the devs are so quiet on the "NEGATIVE" threads.

Not sure about this, but on another forum, regarding another game (Trainz 2006) it was claimed by a Wal-Mart store that it had been "recalled". The explanation offered was that the units the store had were "recalled" (put back on the truck) to be redistributed to other Wal-Mart stores that had a higher demand for the game or something. I'm not in retail, don't know if it's true, but this is the second time I've heard of a game being "recalled" by Wal-Mart and nothing said about it by the manufacturer.

Because jumping into flames can be painful! :-ukliam Ouch!P.S. I'm not aware of any recall.

I never heard of any software "recall" before, I think it may be a first if confirmed. Why not just release a patch?

Priceless! :-lol
