October 27, 200619 yr >Any word when the graphics engine will be fixed :-hmmm Walmart are fixing the graphics engine? :)This all sounds more like a case of confusion over the shelf recall that was done when Walmart accidentally broke the release date embargo.Allcott
October 27, 200619 yr Hey at my Walmart the guy told me the first patch would be out by Christmas and then he gave me some advise on modifying the FSX .cfg file and doing a CATIII autoland in the LDS767. Mark CYYZ
October 27, 200619 yr Circuit City on 10/17 told me is was recalled; they had Deluxe priced at $49. So I went to Best Buy (competitive pricing) and paid that price. Beats $70. lololI wonder what this 'recall' sales stratigy it intended to do? Weird!
October 27, 200619 yr Thats exactly what it is. Most of the people that work in electronics at walmart (at least my local one) know nothing about electronics. I even had one guy tell me FSX would only be for XBox360 lol

October 27, 200619 yr Has anybody ever seen or heard of a game, or any type of software for that matter, being recalled by its developer (announced on their site)? I would think that it would be nearly impossible to manage such feat. Oh, wait, Firestone tires, Sony batteries, Automakers; yea, I guess it's been done before, LOL, but not with software. I could believe a patch before the DX10 update (not holding my breath) but to flat-out replace the shipping media seems like a bit of a stretch. Now maybe there is an issue with the activation-stickers but from the few posts I've seen, it just doesn't seem that wide-spread, globaly that is. Regards, Al Jordan | KCAE
October 27, 200619 yr Had the guy at the local Wal-Mart tell me that due to the tragedy of 9-11, they wouldn't be selling any flight simulation software.....hmm, directly behind him were several copies of FS2004. Ouch
October 27, 200619 yr Author They are still being worked on (not by me), but hopefully wrapping up today. They won't hit the web for a while though as we have to run through a test pass and wait for the usual bureaucratic delays.-Adam
