I suspect that people doing so is the cause of the cracked trim.. maybe? August 20, 20205 yr Typical news reporting from people who don't even do any rudimentary research. These are the kind of 'writers' who scrawl gibberish such as aeroplanes are on the 'tarmac' (think you mean ramp, which is concrete, not tarmac), and call the flaps the 'wing flaps' (like they'd be anywhere else on the goddam plane). A good example of that is the person saying it was a 'force landing' and them repeating this nonsense. Presumably only a pilot with a high midi-chlorian count can perform one of these, unless the aeroplane was bound for Dagobah. In any case, it wasn't a forced landing, it may have been a precautionary diversion, and possibly a precautionary descent, but probably wasn't even any of those. If they really thought there was any risk at all, the cabin would have been seriously rearranged seating-wise and every loose object would have been stowed. If it was bound for Dagobah, then it'd just crashland in the swamp anyway.. August 21, 20205 yr God I love the media, all that is is bloody plastic to hide the insulation and the actual glass pane which is bloody thick and secured with fasteners to the fuselage! Also, its good to be back. 😎 AME GE90, GP7200 CFM56
