It is saying waiting for update using navconnect on client ... but not working. Aircraft not showing up.

Any ideas why ?

LNM on remote? Navconnect and FSX SP2 SimConnect on flying computer? Should work without problems.

Ah. Hang on. On the flying computer I only have MSFS default and stock.

1. Do I need to download FSX SP2 Simconnect specifically ?

2. If so, does this avoid the stutters some people are getting ?

Also,

3. Is it possible to import scenery on the flying PC and copy across to the non flying PC as usual ?

Many Thanks.👍

Yes. Only on the flying computer.

No. Disable AI in LNM and/or wait for the next MSFS update which hopefully fixes this issue. Apparently it did not happen with the beta.

Alex

When you need to divert to another airfield, terminate coms and retune the transponder to 7000.

Select 'Nearby Airports' from the ATC dropdown.

Click on an airport and the ATC window will show the frequency.

Retune coms and announce yourself.

Choose 'Stop Landing' from the dropdown.

Click 'Approach' and then 'Final' when ready.

Tower will give you clearance.

Land.

I'm going to admit ignorance here.

I am setting up my environment for the days of VR, which should happen in October.

The VFR map window is good to a point where it does not display restricted airspace details. eg. D 3500 4500

ATM, I am referring to a real chart for this info.

What do you think of Navigraph? 8.30 Euros per month.

Will Navigraph be a virtual tablet in VR?

Cheers,

Where do you put the FSX/P3D Simconnect file ?

The MSFS Simconnect file is present and correct in the LocalCache folder.

But if I want to put the FSX Simconnect file in there it wants to overwrite it obviously.

Ther FSX Simconnect file needs to be adjusted for the IP adress of my server PC, but presumably it goes in a differnet folder ?

Confused !

Thnx

You don't put this anywhere and you don't have to overwrite anything. Simply install it on the flying computer. https://www.littlenavmap.org/downloads/SimConnect/

This is currently not used by LNM.

As others have mentioned Navigraph are releasing VFR charts, if this is up to scratch it will be a great combo with their already excellent app.  However its payware.....

Freeware can't go wrong with Little Navmap or Plan G.......I think both are having issues though causing stuttering through simconnect.  Not sure if thats fixed or not yet?

http://skyvector.com is free, but if you’re looking for the real app that the pros use, it’s called Foreflight. Does everything you could ever want it to do, including creating nav logs, mapping waypoints, viewing every chart you could ever want, getting the weather, NOTAMs, etc.

Hi Alex.

So run the exe in the server PC and Little Nav Connect should find it and talk to the networked Little Nav Map app on the remote client PC ?

Run FS and Navconnect on the flying and LNM on the remote. Navconnect shows hostname and IP-address.
Then enter hostname or IP-address for flying computer in LNM on the remote when connecting.

It is all explained here:

Got it.... Will give it another try.

Thanks Alex.😁👍
