    EGBW is Wellesbourne Mountford. They have a tower in Real Life. EGBO is Wolverhampton/Halfpenny Green. They have a tower in RL. EGBS is Shobden. They have a tower in RL Is there any way to correct this? I thought it was because they really hate me. 😆

    Sizing of canals and river tributaries are a tad large. Inland water surface elevations are a good metre too high.

    EGBW, EGBO and EGBS. ATC dialog window lets me announce I am taxiing. No clearance response from Tower. ATC dialog window lets me announce I am taking off for a leave. No clearance response from tower. EGBJ. Clearance responses from tower after my announcements.

    At EGEU, Stoney Lane, the canal has flooded over the runway. Mind you, we've had some rain lately. 😄

    I flew Wellesbourne Moutford to Shobden in the tail end of Storm Francis. Shobden runway is 26, right into the teeth of the gale. Landed fine, but when steered to taxi, wind took the fin and the airplane wouldn't turn. 32 kts. Live weather is realistic alright.

ASUS ROG 4K 34" curved monitor. Saitek yoke with Bodnar board for Pitch and Roll. Saitek quadrant Saitek pedals. Scenery is true to Bing Maps Aerial View Weather is true to view from my window. 130 - 135 fps. Happy as Larry.

    It's more than famous landmarks. On the charts are VRPs. Visual Reference Points. My local example is Warwick M40 Junction due north of EGBW 180. All the VRPs should be paid attention to. Luckily, M40 J15 sticks out like a sore thump. The 'landmark' due north of that is Kenilworth Castle. A large redstone building on a hill. Bob Dudley's old place. Cheers.

    I've been disheartened by two trees directly in line with the field at Stoney Lane. EGEU. There was a jiggle in a file 'Vegetation' to reduce the MAX of tree height. There is also TREES in Graphics options. Now they gone. About water features. Canals and small streams are far too large. Having said that, they are a Navigation aid in VFR. Cheers.

    TREES GRASSES AND SHRUBS Adjust these until your neigbourhood looks like Bing Aerial View.

    Your tree size tip really works. My neck o t woods now looks like Google Earth.

    Why was the thread halted? Does it encourage users to fiddle with the software?

    Hi, Don't have TREES on Ultra. There will be trees in the sim where there are not trees. I have TREES at Low. Same for GRASSES AND BUSHES. With BUILDINGS on Medium, they are better. Spend some time adjusting these until the sim becomes closer to your known landscape. Cheers.

    Can those text banners be removed? And another thing. Can someone tell me how to stop the application closing itself after a duration of inactivity? When I land at an airfield, I shut down the airplane and go for a coffee. When I come back, I expect the airplane to be where I left it. The application has closed itself.
