Another teaser with the custom ProLine replica typeface, and independent scratchpad and message areas, just like the real deal. I've used a lot of different reference material to really dial in the shapes and spacing. We've been hard at work! And, it turns out this will make it into the upcoming beta release.

Well, I'm as annoyed as the rest of you are that this isn't in your hands yet. I have been fighting with the flight plan pages for days now and interacting with the built-in flight plan module is extremely painful and, at this point, there's almost no logic to what's working and not working. It is extremely sensitive.

That said, it is about 95% working, but there are situations that will cause the FMS to misbehave. At this point, that misbehavior is mostly limited to an errant EXEC indication lingering on the FMS until returning to the FPLN page and hitting EXEC again, so another team member is going to take a whack at it again shortly (in the European morning) and then we're going to do one more run through, update the release notes and make it available to willing testers.

The good news is that the eternity it has taken to get FPLN into somewhat working order has given the team an opportunity to pack more features in to this release, so...new fonts, updated lighting, fixed yaw damper and gear warnings, PFD and MFD updates. Lots of good extras that have been piling in while I've been pulling my hair out!

We all appreciate your patience and hope that we haven't raised your expectations too high! 😉 There's still much more to do.
