August 27, 20205 yr Here's what i did. I used to run my 7700k without HT. FS2020 runs much better with it enabled. 1) Enable HT in your bios. 2) In FS2020 turn off v-sync 3) install MSI afterburner or just RSTT. (I use MSI afterburner for in sim FPS and GPU and CPU load info) 4) Add the FS2020.exe in the RSTT program list and select it 5) Set Scanline sync x/2 and use 1. (You may need to experiment with this figure. I've seen people use -10, +10, +1. Just try a few) This should really smooth the sim out but with caveats: This will not cure the stutters in airliners or bus. jets when changing views or on final approach but it helps reduce them. As far as GA flying, it really does smooth it out. Very nice indeed. My system spec is in my sig. My monitor is an NEC EA244 1920x1200 IPS 60Hz. I hope this helps. I also hopes the upcoming patch fixes the stutters and improves glass cockpit performance in the jets. August 27, 20205 yr And one more thing, turn off rolling cache. This really helps with performance as well. Stu i7 12700K , DDR4 64GB RAM @3600MHz, Asus Z690-Plus D4 MB, Gainward 4090 RTX Graphics, 850W Corsair PSU, Kraken AIO watercooler, Nvme 1TB ssd, 1TB ssd, 500GB ssd.

August 27, 20205 yr Yes you're right. FS2020 was the folder I created for Steam to install it to. Cheers for the correction Stu i7 12700K , DDR4 64GB RAM @3600MHz, Asus Z690-Plus D4 MB, Gainward 4090 RTX Graphics, 850W Corsair PSU, Kraken AIO watercooler, Nvme 1TB ssd, 1TB ssd, 500GB ssd.
