Piper Cherokee 180 Will Not Load

Featured Replies

I have P3D v5 and very happy with it.  At the moment flying with A2a Piper Comanche and Beechcraft Bonanza.

One of the default aircraft is a Piper Comanche 180. If I check the files;   Prepare3D/Sim Objects/Airplanes      ... the Piper Conache 180 is there. However if I try to load a flight the Piper Comanche never appears as an option in the scenario screen. Any ideas on how to fix this.

I don't have a Piper Comanche as a default aircraft in P3Dv5. I think what you are seeing  in the simobjects folder are the files for an AI aircraft.

The ai aircraft would have no panel folder.

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz (8 cores) Hyper on, Evga RTX 3060 12 Gig, 32 GB ram, Windows 11, P3D v6, and MSFS 2020 and a couple of SSD's

Your title reads Piper Cherokee 180 not Piper Comanche. There has been an AI Cherokee in the default folder for P3D going back several P3D versions now.

Thanks guys.

You are correct. It is a Piper Cherokee 180 and it is an AI aircraft.

Thanks.
