There's more to FSUIPC then just setting up profiles for controls. The Lua scripting capability of FSUIPC, which allows tailoring the sim to one's liking and hardware, is critical for many users, especially cockpit builders. Could all that FSUIPC does be built into the sim -- sure. But so could other addons like study level aircraft, but why? Besides, it seems to me Asobo already has more than they can handle in a timely manner even though they supposedly started working on this sim a number of years ago.

So I'm looking forward to a fully functioning FSUIPC7 with a much improved MSFS in the months ahead. To this end, Asobo needs to significantly improve the SDK and Simconnect.
