FSUIPC7 Appreciation Thread

Featured Replies

I just had to create a thread to thank every AVSIM member for their advice and most importantly the developer @John Dowson for creating an immensely invaluable tool for  MSFS 2020. My controllers sensitivities finally work properly and I even managed to get my badly "needed" GoFlight LGT unit working with MSFS.

To say that I'm fully invested in MSFS is an understatement. I'm now obsessed with this new sim (thanks to FSUIPC) and just wanted to share my enthusiasm.

FSUIPC7 makes FS2020 enjoyable. Still I use P3D/PMDG most of the time.

Kind regards,

I hope you are only obsessed with your new sim and not abscessed, because the latter would be very painful.😉

I gotta stop using my phone to post.

I love fsuipc. I hate the reason fsuipc exists. Do we really still need this kind of addons? Can't developers finally built features like this natively into the sim? I remember using it maybe 15 years ago. It's 2020. Once again I see endless stream of comming addons you have to use to have a decent sim, accompanied by endless tweaking and fight for fps. Sorry for the rant, it's a bit off-topic. Fspuic on it's own is great as a program.

I have my GoFlight TPM working but can't get the LGT to work.  I'm clueless about FSUIPC.  Any quick tips to help?  Once I get the LGT working, I can actually fly something besides the 172.  Hehehe...

It exists because different add-on aircraft require tweaks to controller inputs so that they feel more realistic. Even my A2A aircraft were too sensitive in pitch.

Thank you again for the help.  Got the flaps and gear working!!!!  Now to work on the RP48.

Can't imagine a sim without FSUIPC offsets power!

Uh huh, and? There is absolutely no reason why this could not just be built into the game... Many other software does allow you to just set and save profiles with/for controls.

not sure what the issue is.. I have different settings in native MSFS for GA aircraft and airliners, and now have one for the Mooney since the sensetivity is a little different for that one,    The only thing i don't have is the ability to auto select them when i change the aircraft in the game which would be an excellent addition and has been suggested to Asobo.

System specs...   CPU AMD5950,  GPU AMD6900XT,  ROG crosshair VIII Hero motherboard, Corsair 64 gig LPX 3600 mem, Air cooling on GPU,   Kraken x pump cooling on CPU.  Samsung G7 curved 27" monitor at 2k resolution ULTRA default settings.
