September 25, 20205 yr Trying to take off from LICE: it's available in MSFS but not in LNM? I did import the MSFS database. Seems like only the airports with procedures (green icon in MSFS) are imported and not the ones without (brown icon)...?

The database says 36.971 airfields have been loaded. Sounds good to me. Is there a setting that might hide specific airports? Even when I use the Search option LICE can't be found. Thanks for checking btw.

Well... that's just odd: I will see if recreating the database will do anything. EDIT Didn't help... Here are all the airports starting with LIC that LNM can find: Edited September 25, 20205 yr by tup61
September 25, 20205 yr That's very odd... I also have 36.971 airports and not only I do have LICE, but mine is named differently from @Alvega one. And my list of LICx is much longer than yours @tup61 and also some names doesn't match ... Are you sure you have selected MSFS Scenery folder? If I select my "old" Prepar3d v3 I get a list much similar to your, and it doesn't show LICE: Edited September 25, 20205 yr by Marco Manieri checked also my p3d v3 scenery db Marco Manieri Perugia - Italy

It should definitely show up on the map if you reset display settings. Also, try to reset the search just in case some other parameter affects the search result. Did you exclude something in options -> scenery library? Using the Navigraph beta? Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
September 26, 20205 yr @Marco Manieri Your LICE was named differently than mine because my scenery library was imported when I had my LNM in portuguese language. I now imported it after changing to english and the names are the same. September 26, 20205 yr Author PROBLEM SOLVED! After resetting everything and LICE still not being found I deleted the entire ABarthel folder so I started completely from scratch again. After loading the database LICE was there! And all other LIC-airports too! Seems it's best to delete the ABarthel whenever you install a new version...? Anyway, it's solved and I'm happy! 🙂 Edited September 26, 20205 yr by tup61

I now imported it after changing to english and the names are the same. There is something else which is different in MSFS. The airport names are not fixed but have to be looked up in translation files like en-US.locPak. I implemented this in LNM in a way that your selected language for the LNM user interface will be used to select a translation pack while loading the scenery library. So, change your user interface to German and you will see München after reloading the library. Change it to English and its back to Munich. Or more: de-DE.locPak: "ATCCOM.AIRPORT EDDM.0.text": "München", en-US.locPak: "ATCCOM.AIRPORT EDDM.0.text": "Munich", es-ES.locPak: "ATCCOM.AIRPORT EDDM.0.text": "Múnich", fr-FR.locPak: "ATCCOM.AIRPORT EDDM.0.text": "Munich", it-IT.locPak: "ATCCOM.AIRPORT EDDM.0.text": "Monaco", ja-JP.locPak: "ATCCOM.AIRPORT EDDM.0.text": "Munich", pl-PL.locPak: "ATCCOM.AIRPORT EDDM.0.text": "Monachium", pt-BR.locPak: "ATCCOM.AIRPORT EDDM.0.text": "Munique", ru-RU.locPak: "ATCCOM.AIRPORT EDDM.0.text": "Мюнхен", zh-CN.locPak: "ATCCOM.AIRPORT EDDM.0.text": "Munich", Its one of the things in MSFS which ate a lot of my time. 8 hours ago, JRBarrett said: Maybe somebody used this product on your computer. September 28, 20205 yr Here is another one that I have been unable to get to show up in LNM which I fly out of all of the time in MSFS. F45 - North Palm Beach County (state of Florida in the USA, North of West Palm Beach International on the eastern coast) I have tried everything... fresh install, completely new database, everything that is mentioned in this thread... this airport is simply not picked up or displayed by Little Nav Map. flightsim.to - map
September 28, 20205 yr F45 exists only in Navigraph data. This will not show up if you excluded the community folder to avoid the LNM errors when reading some add-ons. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
September 28, 20205 yr You are right. I have the Community folder excluded because I had read about the errors on some other thread. I see that I have F45 in there and why I can fly out of it in MSFS (I forgot that it was not actually in the default game!) What can we do to get add-on airports in the Community folder to be scanned by LNM without errors? Is there something in the BGL that is throwing an error when scanned by LNM? Is there a way to add the BGL/Airport manually to LNM? Is there some manual adjustments that I can make to the add-on aiport? Thanks for everything you do... LNM is just one of the most stunning examples of freeware ever released to the FlightSim community (and I have been around since the late 90s). flightsim.to - map
