New PC and LIcense Not Valid

Featured Replies

Have a new pc and a licensed copy of Pilot2ATC. My new pc won't let me install. Do I have to re-purchase for the new pc for FS2020?

Thank You.

No.  If you want to move the license, send me an email with your license key and I can reset the server to let you move it.

Before I RE-Switch back to my flying machine from my laptop in the other room, and send you my license key, (again...yes it’s my doing, not yours),what kind of FPS HIT are your P2ATC clients Who have both P2ATC and their flight simulator on the same machine experiencing? Is there a step-by-step on remote (logically AND physically) configuration, that makes practical, FPS gained sense?  I thought so when I moved my license key to my laptop. Please advise.

Thanks Dave, sending you and everybody vibes of protection and healing.

It depends on a lot of factors.  If you have a very good GPU and plenty of memory, the framerate hit should be minimal because P2A does not use the GPU and does not use much CPU.  It does need about 3GB of memory, but if you have 32GB, it's not even noticed.  If you have less than 16GB, you will likely have performance issues.

That’s why I asked the question...per You and Dave, the SIM FLYING PC  if also runs P2ATC, will Experience insignificant FPS hit...so I will bow to y’all’s knowledge and experience and have Dave switch(release?) my License Key .  Where is it? I cannot find it, where P2ATC.exe currently resides.

thanks

Thank you for that info Dave!

Im playing MS2020 on my laptop right now and loved P2A's trial. I wanted to purchase a license but I wanted to wait until I got my new PC build and ready. Sadly it will take much longer for all parts to ship (thanks to lack of stock of Nvidia RTX3000's cards) Im still stuck with my Laptop.

Ive heard from some P2A its bound on one machine so I got hesitant purchasing now.

Now that I know that you can transfer it for me to my future machine Im going to purchase a license right now.

Best wishes
