September 26, 20205 yr Everyday is a great day for a practice approach. I took some pics flying the VOR RWY 36 KFCM - this takes me south of the Minneapolis area, over the town of Shakopee and near Prior Lake and back NE. I then did a pretty tight circle to land (to a low approach) RWY 10R, then outbound for another radar approach. Departing RWY 10R, then we'll turn southwest to join the FCM215R outbound Untitled by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr View from Flying Cloud Drive - looks like my drive to work! I'm configured for landing here as the turn is pretty tight and I'm just a tad about vref and watching the AoA. My plan is a low approach RWY 10R. Untitled12 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Untitled13 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Ended up overshooting the north parallel a little (which is a big no no when I'm working!) but we're on our way for a radar vector to the ILS 10R KFCM. Thanks for looking! September 27, 20205 yr Great series, Ryan...! Getting a taste for yourself of what you guide other planes/pilots to do...🙂... And, agree, this Longitude, sure, looks sharp...!!
