You just need to click through the folder to the actual mod folder that has the individual files inside, not and other folder. Place that folder in Community and delete the rest. The folder that sits in Community will have a json file etc in it. This is what the readme said to place in the community folder and is what I am putting there: Frank Patton Corsair 5000D Airflow Case; MSI B650 Tomahawk MOB; Ryzen 7 7800 X3D CPU; ASUS RTX 4080 Super; NZXT 360mm liquid cooler; Corsair Vengeance 64GB DDR5 4800 MHz RAM; RMX850X Gold PSU;; ASUS VG289 4K 27" Display; Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo, Crosswind 3's w/dampener. October 1, 20205 yr Yes, that looks right to me. So you have Community >workingtitle-g1000. Inside that folder is the files in the right window in your screenshot. If that is how you have done it, you are hitting a limitation in Windows itself. It cannot have more than a set number of characters in the file structure. The limit has been revoked but you need to take some steps to benefit from it: https://mspoweruser.com/ntfs-260-character-windows-10/ This allows you to go past the 260 character limit. October 1, 20205 yr Another user of our mod had reported the same problem. It's something I have to deal with, too. This is my explanation of how I work around it. https://github.com/Working-Title-MSFS-Mods/fspackages/issues/154#issuecomment-701747633
October 1, 20205 yr Author Hello all, The v0.3 update fixed the problem. Many thanks to all respondents. for Pjs37. When I get that message, I simply unzip (WinRar) directly into the community folder. As a rule I create a new folder ... put the zipped file into that folder and unzip here. I check the unzipped version and if all ok I then unzip the file directly into the community folder. A bit of a long way around the problem but it does work for me every time.
