November 20, 20205 yr No you can't ! Yes you can! - I love these hypothetical debates.. I think the concept of taking the earlier Flight Sim 737 and modifying to fly in MS 2020 would be similar to what has already happened for the earlier MS A321 posted on another website. Or 3rd party products like Thomas Ruth's A330 published with permission and modified by a talented contributor .. Almost anything seems possible . What i really like about MSFS 2020 so far is the ever increasing number of freeware downloads..something that originally was present in earlier versions of Microsoft flight simulator but gradually disappeared as more complex aircraft and scenery were too time consuming and more difficult without a some form of monetary return - apologies to those few dedicated freeware contributors who stuck at it!. The Bing 3D Mapping engine is out of date by more than a decade in many places - or has no 3D data available - Up steps many freeware contributors with Google 3D data scenery replacements... Something that perhaps Asobo had not imagined would become so prevalent. Personally I like to fly real world routes from Oceania to Asia (Incl China) and in this area, the topography and Photogrammetry is sorely lacking....who can blame the end user from downloading Google 3D freeware updates where they are available ?! I am sure, when they have the time, that an internal debate is going on right now about what levels of Freeware exposure the present platform developers will allow. They don't want to curb 3rd party payware development, but then they don't want to discourage freeware development either - because this gives the platform an infusion of participation and, in my opinion, a continual ongoing interest as the "tired of flying" users move to the creative side of the Simulator. During these trying COVID times, Asobo has kept us up to date and continues to develop MS 2020. As their global updates improve, the flight model improves and the SDK becomes something that payware developers can leverage off.. I see only good things ahead....

I am sorry but have to laugh really loud at you flying around in my great home cockpit setup now online at Vatsim in.... P3D 😉 Everything really works in this sim 😉

I think most default planes seem tail heavy and want to float on landing. On some planes I cheat and move the station loads forward so it feels more real. This also makes landings less slippery right after touchdown. November 20, 20205 yr There were plenty of great 737 models that were free in FSX. TDS/skyspirit models would make a great base and probably would convert easily.
