Where is this in MSFS? Thanks.

In File Manager find your Community folder where you put all of your add-ons and hit the up arrow gadget twice to move up two directories.

Interesting.. I just had a look.

It is actually called Content.xml, but it lists items as "active"  that I have long since removed from the Community folder.

Should I be removing those lines??

Bert

MSFS will update the file if you delete it, though it's always better to save it somewhere else first.

I had my Backup folder within the Packages folder, but have now moved it up one level..

Maybe that will work better..

Hi Bert, Where are all these files. In my MSFS2020 folder I have just two files: Community and below that Official.

My reason for asking this that those who have bought FSDreamteam KeyWest some have an issue with the scenery unless they move it vertically within the Contents.XML file after purchase and installation...for whatever reason the installer doesn't place it in what appears to be the correct position.  That said I need to find the Contents.XML file before I buy.

Thanks.

I added my own Backup folder... but have now moved it out of the Packages folder..

If you go up two levels from the Community folder, you should see the Content.xml file.

The easy way to solve allot of problems is just delete the file and let FS rebuild it the next time you start up the sim.  This worked for me in getting FSDT's Key West to work.
