October 14, 20205 yr I saw an app on MSFSAddons called FlightDeck and it intrigued me. Find out it interfaces between Elgato's Stream Deck and MSFS. Has anybody used the Stream Deck? It's not cheap but I like the ability to map buttons for each aircraft. I could see using multiple of these to 'build panels' (overhead for airlines, engine starts) or create camera views. I went ahead and bough FlightDeck and am currently using Stream Deck mobile. So far there are basic profiles for a couple of the aircraft (172, 208, A320) and only for a few of the commands (lights, flaps, gear). I'm actually amazed that the app syncs with and shows the correct status (gear will show down on the app when you load up the plane). Ok, rambled on enough, Hehehe...

Thanks... that looks interesting. I've been using this free add-on which is limited only by what is supported in the Sim. https://github.com/nguyenquyhy/Flight-Tracker-StreamDeck Of course anything you can key-bind can be mapped to a button on the Stream Deck, but this add-on interacts through the SIM API to actually display status for things like lights and AP modes, com frequencies, etc. I highly recommend it. I have a folder for each aircraft I fly and then a sub folder for each major subsystem... lights and systems, AP, ATC, cameras, etc. The options are amazing. Now if only Asobo would expose the G1000 buttons via the API we would be able to interact with the Garmin systems without having to click knobs. There's also this guy who's created button icons for various functions... https://github.com/hey8you/Stream-Deck-and-MSFS-2020 Edited October 21, 20205 yr by Virtual-Chris
