No change for me.
I start my Pc, wait 15".
I start Fs 2020 : as soon as I can, I press "any key", then as soon as I can, I choose an airport, start flying.
Total Fs loading time : 2'20". If I quit to desktop, restart FS 2020, total loading time is 2'10"

If you are using an hd (vs ssd or NvMe V2 disk) then you probably need to de-fragment your disk.
If you use many addons (community folder), then try managing them. See this post

it seems to vary for some reason... maybe more complex starting points take longer,,

Definitely affected by additional scenery in community folder. Freeware photogrammetry in particular. Number of files to be scanned maybe? My load times were getting up to around 20 minutes (I have a lot of such addons) but I'm using the Addons Linker, as mentioned by @ctdlg above, and it solves the problem for me. If I run with just my payware airports enabled startup times are fine.

Since Saturday mine has stopped loading after ' press any key'.....and I have not done any new add ons etc.

This happens to me after every 3 -4 weeks of good run.

I think I will  have to re install -like previous times.

This sim seems to have a random bug.

Just works when it feels like it... Ai pilots doing covid 19 lock down??? lol

If you have a big community folder, leave only the add-ons you will actually use during the flight. That is the cause of the slow loading most of the times.
