November 3, 20205 yr Hi guys. I've been having this problem in the island of Pico, Azores. I've tested in other islands and it doesn't happen. The ground textures have very low resolution and it "blinks" with other higher resolution textures. Can anyone check if this is happening with any of you? Thank you for your help! Regards, André
November 4, 20205 yr I see the same thing. Almost like there are missing textures. The elevations appear correct and there are even windmills, but ... The area around LPPI and the coast is nice, but the problems are in the center of the island especially east of that big mountain. Edited November 4, 20205 yr by desbean
November 4, 20205 yr If you check Bing Maps, on the right side of the mountain there is a big square that doesn't have high resolution textures. November 4, 20205 yr Not so much a bug, it is just that they may not have the high resolution satellite data to put in yet. As Alvega said, if Bing maps doesn't have the data, then it won't have it in the sim. Unfortunate, but there are a lot of areas of the world that do not have high definition coverage yet. I flew over lake Navron in Africa recently as it is supposed to be beautiful. Unfortunately only one half had satellite data, the other was just solid blocks of colour! 🙁 Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. November 4, 20205 yr I thought the AI would account for bad resolution images and simply replace them with default landclass textures instead.
