I just took a screenshot of my approach to ENEV from the north, on ILS 17. I'm in the TBM 930.

Almost everything is on Ultra. In FS2020 of course.

I've not uploaded/linked pictures in this forum before I thought I would give it a try.

Shot looks fantastic!  Your "try" in this forum was spot on.  Look forward to more from you....flying around at dawn/dusk is one of may favorite things to do...if that's not painfully obvious...hehe.

I'm getting more of them than I've had before...how bad is it Ryan?  I ask because I think I'm noticing that its when I play with the GPS, having all the Working title mods up to date and installed.

Trying to give them a repeatable scenario to squash it if it is in fact them...unless you're solidly getting them with none of thier mods installed?  This sim is fantastic, and I have great optimism of its future...but a CTD is...well...a buzzkill to say the least. 🤣

If there is a bright spot for me...when the CTD happens, as frustrated as it is (after a long beautiful flight and on short final), it seems to be a very clean break.  Meaning I can go back in MSFS without rebooting my PC, take another flight with nary a hitch.  I know....not the best situation, but at least I can get some flights in until they get it all sorted. 😉  (Eternal Optimist?) 🤪

Thank you very much! I agree, this sim is stunningly beautiful, and playing around with the time slider can give you some amazing views. I set the slider to the afternoon on departure, knowing that by arrival the sun would be setting. (Love your screenshots too!)

Btw, if you guys want to fly in Norway, I highly recommend using the lake elevation fixes on the flightsim dot to forum. There are three fixes, one for south, one for north and one for the middle.

Yep the CTDs need to be fixed promptly. Everyone should be able to enjoy this simulator they paid for. What fixed the sim for me was deleting most of my addons. But like I mentioned above, if you guys want to fly in Norway, get the lake elevation fixes. They don't give you any trouble either btw. 🙂

Thanks...yeah love dusk and dawn flying...its sooo nice.

Will grab it for sure when I get to flying in that beautiful country.  Got to visit the Coast of Norway during a "Northern Wedding" exercise when I was in the Navy (They love giving witty names to large gatherings of warships playing war)....it was a joint task force...some Canadian as well as Norwegian vessels all joined the fun.  Got to see the stunning fjords near Bodo....was a very cool exercise.   Visiting it in MSFS for sure. 😉

Just now I'm pretty sure I found a CTD you can replicate...down it 3 times in a row now.  Take off from Burbank. (KBUR)...fly direct to Catalina as you near KLAX, I get a CTD every time (flying at Dusk of course, LOL)  Was in the Bonanza with the mod, at 4000 feet.

Maybe other can try that scenario and see if it CTDs for them.  I have the G1000 mod too...but took it out on the last run...same thing.
