LNM and import option from simbrief

Featured Replies

Hi,

is it possible to add option in menu to Import active flight plan from Simbrief ? Like Navigraph app do ?

It is small feature but always faster than copy/paste flight plan 🙂 I know i am lazy 🙂

perhaps could also import simbrief default and custom airframes?

IMHO copy&paste is here unnecessary manual operation.
When I use Simbrief (very rarely but sometimes it's necessary to check something) I write/export flight plan to file then next is loaded into LNM as completely flight plan**
I use XP11 format to exchange data between Simbrief and LNM, but feel free to use any other format that includes all needed data.

That's all  🙂

Piotr

ps. **yes I know, I'm a lazy man ... 😜

Hi Alex, any update on the possibility of this feature (and the airframe profiles!)? Would be absolutely awesome!

Cheers

As noted in another thread: Planned for a (far) future update. I'll have a look at their API and have to see how much effort this is. Maybe I can do this for the next release but no promises.

Airframe import is very unlikely.

Why not just save the flight plan from Simbrief and simply open that up in LNM?

I do like seeing my route in Skyvector, though, so that export option is nice and handy.

I was about to ask for the same feature, which I'm wishing me for long time.

But great to hear, that you will implement it soon! 😀

Was just working on it when a certain hillshading debacle interrupted me.😦 Meh.But will continue soon.

Hi -

Any news on this topic? It would be an excellent feature to have.
