RXP 530/430 & Carenado T210

Featured Replies

Greetings,

I was never able to solve an issue with the Carenado T210 using the RXP 530/430. At issue is the frozen course selector with CDI in NAV or GPS modes. I have exhausted every option I can think of to make it work as it should. I think a Carenado update is highly unlikely and looking for anybody that might have similar experience or better yet, a solution.

Hi,

You can choose GPS <- SIM, GPS <-> SIM, and GPS -> SIM modes. It might be this aircraft is coded without consideration of 3rd party gauges needing to take control of the switch. In this case you'd use GPS <- SIM to let the aircraft have authority.

Thanks for the info. It looks like I am able to get it to work using the HSI/CRS auto-slew function but the manual is preferred.

I had a 530/430 setup working flawlessly in the 210 on my previous system.  Perhaps give me a few days to pull out the SSD from my system that failed in early August.  I get a bit nervous about connecting and accessing it as my system failure had to do with a Windows permissions issue.  So when I get time I will connect that SSD to an old laptop via a SATA-E cable and see if I can extract the files that will show me what I did.

OP, what sim are you running? That would be a nice A/C but doesn't seem to support P3Dv5.

Thank you sir, much appreciated.

Send me a PM reminder here Thurs or Friday.  OK?  Massive leaf cleanup underway here.  This shows the farm boy in me...

Just put two wings on this tractor, and overfly their garden. With a little practice you'll blow the leaf back to their yard 🤪

A lot of ILS approaches in that photo....  Intentional Leaf Shreddings....

Unfortunately it is all VFR.  Very Frustrating Removal...
