Not really, if you choose carefully what to do with it and how much. ps5 uses what @mSparks posted or something similar yet uses ray tracing for indirect lights even with out ray tracing specific hardware. 6 hours ago, mSparks said: not GI. closest thing xplane has is the bugged ssao. xplane lighting hasn't been touched since practical realtime gi algorithms became available. Mods like to proof read my posts in case I accidentally on purpose use the dark side to make peoples heads explode. Its genuinely safer for everyone that way.
