@ha5mvo You've done it perfectly. You wrote exactly *what* is wrong, *what should happen* and then *how* to reproduce it. A 100% PERFECT bug/inaccuracy report that any developer would actually love. You are right, none of those who commented to you are even interested to read and comprehend. Note how on one hand they go personal and ignore your report due to not being credible in their eyes on the other hand they quote Ubaid Mussa the guy who runs inibuilds (I very much like their planes) but not even a developer himself and is clearly doing what any guy who runs a business is doing claiming his last shiny toy is always better. This is just a tiny minor example of the lack of consistency in their claims. Or that other guy who teaches his students VFR based on un-documented map elements as a good practice. I see you have some mileage in these forums; Avsim is no longer a place to learn and truly discuss aviation like it was to be. Its a place where if you even dare to criticize one's beloved choice you are immediately a discredited + a cult member and expect to be mocked (what they call "pushback"). Its kind of like what this world is now, constant cynicism with no other views than your own acceptable, they will try to analyze every letter you write and at the slightest opportunity they will take your quotes out of context deliberately and ignore all the other stuff you wrote. These tactics are well known, no one is fooling anyone's intelligence despite they think they are outsmarting anyone. But for what its worth, there is a reason for Avsim user numbers generally going on a down trend. My suggestion is just let them believe what they want, some of those who call you dishonest person are 2020 registered just when MSFS was released and constantly pushing promotional content....You do your own 1+1 🙃

He said inferior product and I gave my views about what is important to a product that is aimed at flight simulation, hence talked about all the other stuff. I'm not a fan of the org whatsoever in fact not active there since a very long time, but from what I see I suspect you get everything you personally deserve. FWIW, an influx of 2020 users who immediatly came to the x-plane & p3d forums to trash them while never tried them (just like @abrams_tankadmited), imo, is no coincidence. Generally Avsim is feeling every day more and more as an infulencers place. You bet there are many silent users around here who feel there is as an awful game going around regarding MSFS influencers, and even some of the MSFS developers feel that, just look at the recent behavior towards some of the FBW guys...who god forbid dared to mention inaccuracies in the fenix and hurt those infulencers efforts. Same applies to some of the FSLlabs around here, and many other developers who feel the same. Meanwhile, they are giving Ubaid Mussa (ini CEO) quotes as a proof, while the man is not even a developer himself. Lets give an example from this thread; No one noticed @abrams_tank selective information? Because ini, just very recently, announced another x-plane product....in the very same post he selectevly quoted. He may have missed, but If it happens all the time, something stinks. Just like after the navigraph survey, he opens a thread here + p3d forum + in the x-plane forum. Why? Because "he is genuinly interested" BS? Then why all his news is one sided and selectivly quoted? Why when the developer of CL659 mentions they cant bring their stuff to MSFS they are ridiculed? Why are real airliner pilots are ridiculed who has an opposite opinion about MSFS as well and he has to look for some youtube infulencers to suggest otherwise? Why when flytampa mentioned MSFS low prices did not yield in many more sales unlike @abrams_tank always say he did not open a thread? Why when x-plane developers state that their sales did not hurt, despite MSFS and despite higher prices, is not news worthy for the guy who is only interested in busniess talk? Why then he did not come to the p3d/x-plane forums open threads about his busniess major BS if it hurts his agenda? Some thinking to do...

@abrams_tank since you are probably talking about, again, wrong assumptions. Unlike you, who admited to not even try x-plane and IIRC p3d, I did try MSFS, several times through out the last 2 years. For example, AI in x-plane create wake turbuelnce that can affect your vehicle and this is because x-plane truely calcualte AI flight model model as well as yours. X-plane 12 has new 3d water with a new water dynamics simulation (visual as well), this enables proper floatplanes, unlike MSFS. What the CFD adds, that is missing from x-plane? What feature? You choose to ignore all the other x-plane developers who chose to stick with it and went for the sole one who fits your agenda and claims. Thats is fine and that is your call. And I bought the PMDG twice, dont want to buy it yet again as I have the free zibo in x-plane, but still paid the CL650 price tag, Why? Another awesome product for my fleet in a simulator that serves me better. Am I the only one? Probably not, thousands like me, does it make us all not smart customers?

"Free" as in a free upgrade for x-plane 12 and free updates and support. Read again. Regarding money, frankly, while it is very subjective, I find it hard to grasp that people who have a gaming PC and simulator hardware that can cost thousands of $ to be tight so that they can never buy an addon that costs like their ram memory and will probably serve them for much longer.
