One of my favorite places on the globe and a great family vacation spot.  The southern tip of the Outer Banks it includes Beaufort, Moorehead City and Atlantic Beach.

Very nice shots!

Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds

Lovely shots!  Currently flying in NC as well....beautiful state....if you have not already while you're in NC....go get the Mountain Air (2NC0) scenery add on and fly there....stunning scenery and unique airport. 🙂

A great scenic little short hop is there to Elizabethon (09A) and back.....just flew it this morning....twice (31nm each way)...but gotta' get some altitude when heading to Mountain Air to clear the terrain between them.....then let down when coming back once you clear the same terrain.  You'll love the flight. 😉
