Win 10 Batch Files to Start Multiple Apps for MSFS

Featured Replies

As we all need to stat many addons or applications together with MSFS, here is you can find a very easy way to make Win 10 Batch File which helps you to open as many apps as you want with a single icon. It is very easy to make and very useful . For example, starting FSUIPC,ATC Addon, Weather Addon, and many more...Here is the link for thisto learn : https://www.windowscentral.com/how-create-and-run-batch-file-windows-10  And you can search the web for more info...

Additionally, MSFSAddonsLinker  https://flightsim.to/file/1572/msfs-addons-linker  have similar options in the new version to do this, as well.

Happy flying.

This is my normal batch file I use to fire up MSFS ...

Quote

echo off
start "lasso" "C:\Program Files\Process Lasso\ProcessLasso.exe" /B
start "trackir" "C:\Program Files (x86)\NaturalPoint\TrackIR5\TrackIR5.exe" /B
timeout 2
start "XPForce" "D:\Games\JK Custom Coding\XPForce for Flight Simulator 2\win_x64\XPForce.exe" /B

My FFB software XPForce actually starts the game so there is no need to fire up MSFS itself.

I have all my addons apps on the task bar and start them depending of my needs for each flight. To access the taskbar I need to hit Alt+Enter and put MSFS momentarily in windowed mode.

This is working very well for me.

Your taskbar should be very crowded :)

I'm currently using a snapshot tool, FS Tramp, Pushback Express and ATC Chatter, and yes, it's getting crowded, but it's still some room available, considering you could delete those that you don't use so often.

Hi;

Most of us are using too many applications that can not fit to our taskbar. Therefore, this is a very useful and easy way of managing apps. Later in the future, when you have your taskbar not easy to manage anymore, you can prefer one of these solutions.

Cheers.

I use VoiceAttack.   I don't start the apps if I'm not going to start the sim,   and I can start all of it whenever I want to with a single voice command.

I also use VA to simulate a 1st officer in the sim (for example when I say rotate,  VA raises gear then reads back "Gear UP" in a decent female text to speech, I use it to "communicate" with the in sim ATC,  and to do just about everything else including slew mode.
