having spoken to a number of the Asobo developers I am confident they could create a quality "study level" sim

I know you guys are in talk with Asobo team, can you tell us how did it go?

AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 64GB DDR5 6000MHZ RAM, RX7900XT, FreeSync 165hz 1440p display

For those quick to knock Asobo, remember it's no comparison.  They are a large team spread thinly working on all aspects of the consumer product.  In contrast FBW are specialists targetting a certain (in this case) type of aircraft.  It's a play to your strengths approach here and I fully admire what FBW have managed to achieve so far.  If it weren't for them I actually wouldn't have bought the sim.

to date we have about 110+ people who have worked on the project.

OMG. I thought that the FBW team was just a few guys, I never imagined them to be that many.

I have tried Discord a couple of times, but must admit I can't figure out how it works, so that's a no go for me 🙂

My comment about "what Asobo/MS can't do" was only because I thought the FBW was 1 or a few guys, and Asobo/MS being a huge company, that the surely have more people working on the different aircrafts, but that's obviously not the case. With that many people involved with the FBW, I'm even more impressed that they manage to do this for free,

So again, a big thumbs up for the work they're doing, and with such a team, I'm sure we, for the first time in Flightsim history, will see an A380 in the sim.

It's quite simple once you get the hang of it. PM me if you have questions.

Not only that, after watching the NoClip documentary on the Asobo team, it's even more impressive, yet FBW is more impressive still
