It's so unfortunate we can't easily share the experience in 3D.  It would be awesome to share a 3D flight with others

I really hope it's not quite that stuttery in real life. That panning around the cockpit at the start - ouch!

I think it's just the borders jumping about (stabilisation?) that the stencil would normally cover in the headset. The rest of it certainly looks no worse than what I see, if not better

We can!

With Oculus Mirror SBS output and BigScreen VR.

These SBS videos can still be created and viewed by others in VR.

Its just no one bothers anymore.

OBS 2D playback intensifies the black borders in all of my VR playback videos.

It wouldn't be possible for me to play if the jitter was this bad in my headset.

I would have puked the first 5 minutes and turned the sim off.🤢

Its a known problem regarding FOV from the VR and 2D recording/playback.

As for WMR internal recordings people don't seem to be aware that its still capped to 720p/30fps.

Of course the videos are gonna look extremely jittery and horribly low quality.

So how do you solve the problem of not being able to see a second screen which I routinely use for my navigraph charts?

Sorry, I meant to have people sitting with you as you fly, as passengers experiencing it in 3D, like watching a giant wrap around 3d telly together 😃

I'll have to try the Occulus big screen app. Thanks for pointing it out. Can they be created at the same res as the game is outputting? Would it be Shadow Play that's used for recording?

Well I’m posting in the MSFS forum and I would assume this is an issue with any headset?  Ie not being able see a second screen

There might be a way to "float" an application in it's own window in VR, and drag it around as needed to place it somewhere convenient within the cockpit.

X-Plane can do this, as I used to do it with a browser window for playing youtube tutorials while flying, and sit it somewhere over the copilot seat. You could simply lean forward or use the zoom button to magnify the view. You could just grab it with the hand controller to move it around.

aaaahhh 😄 hand controllers  mmmmmmmmmmm
