December 24, 20205 yr It seems at my home field KSAT in San Antonio, ATC will often direct major air carriers to land on 31R instead of Left, which is much longer. 31R is usually used by GA and occasional business jets. This happens even though there are no conflicts for 31L. Never saw this in FSX or P3D. Also, most airliners disappear upon landing. Thinking this is because no “AVCAD” like assignments exist for parking at this fairly busy airport. Anybody seeing same problem elsewhere?

We all know this is a problem among other things with default ATC. Among others, assigning altitude unavailable by certain aircraft type, give shorter than required runway, choosing take off runways with a solid tailwind instead of headwind!
