December 27, 20205 yr I am a new user the Reality XP and the Database for the 430/530 is from 2009. How do I update it to the latest, so that I can get current IFR approach selection when I press PROC button.

December 31, 20205 yr You are paying for a Garmin 530/430 simulator with firmware 3.3, i.e. capable of most RNAV/RNP/GPS approaches except LP+V, highly integrated in to X-Plane. That means you pay for something which includes a database of 2009. RealityXP does not have the possibility to update that datbase as the structure of the database is Garmin proprietary. If you ave access to a real GTN or GNS database update you can update the sim with it as well. But these updates come with a high pricetag
December 31, 20205 yr If you can live with "recently expired" navdata, send me a PM with your email address. This is a one-time update, not an updating service! As Peter said, you can subscribe to Garmin or Jeppesen updates, at real world prices, if that is what you need.
